Dissection (Swe) - Storm of the Light's Bane (Full Length, 1995)

Then I leave some of this legendary Swedish band Dissection that called, a project that originally performed a mixture of Melodic Death Black Metal with lyrical themes which was chaos, the occult, death and Satanism anticósmico.

The band was formed in 1989 in the town of Strömstad, Sweden, since the project had a number of excellent productions, but I and many more we are adept with their first two full lengths, including the best in my opinion is this entitled Storm of the Light's Bane, a production that shows us all the power and evil of Dissection.

The execution of this production is fast both in the guitars and at the battery, of course notice that both chords and riffs of pure Black Metal Bathory style, with traces of a powerful Melodic Death Metal, that battery is powerful enough and the guitars keep aggression in him, the grim vocals of Jon Nödtveidt (RIP) have Spectral touch while aggressive, no doubt why a benchmark in terms of the Swedish scene is concerned, but his fame and influence very effectively transferred from the borders of their homeland and have been cited for more than a project both as the Death Metal Black Metal.

This album is a true classic gentlemen, a masterpiece that shows us that evil can stay afloat with music, unfortunately the project could not overcome the loss of Jon Nödtveidt, who committed suicide two years in 2006 to serve a 7 years in prison, during which time Dissection was inactive and was reactivated in 2004 with the release of Jon, some argue that in this was imprisoned while he planned his own death on more than one occasion, but to my taste are rumors that have not yet been clarified.
