is a band that in 2004 with their fulll length 'Nyktalgia', a self-titled album in which Suididal hear a Black Metal sounds powerful and little related to gender and the battery is quite powerful and the guitars though to use some sounds that remind us what the Depressive Black, are more aggressive and less tinged with the Black / Doom, the voice of Skjeld seem to suffer a kind of physical and mental torture that drives him to scream so heartbreaking that , without mercy to their vocal cords, also the speed with running not quite breaks the hypnotic touch many bands of the genre which we are accustomed.
Nyktalgia For 2008 returns with their second album 'Peisithanatos', an album that does not show much of the style that manages the band, but that includes some musical elements that seem to indicate that the continuation of their debut album. The speed and aggressiveness dismiuyen of the band, although I must say that the guitars keep some touch more melancholy than his previous record, the battery still in the same line and the grim vocals have not changed much, also seems to neglect the touch of hypnotic or exchange it for some musical touches some bands usually employ the so-called Dark Metal, though I doubt it is a merger rather it points to a carefully calculated amount of experimentation. Nyktalgia is one of those projects that have a discography so short that makes us think that they take their time to compose their rolas, but the truth is that perhaps the fact that all members participate in various projects makes this part of the composition and recording of their albums, however I invite you to listen to an excellent draft Depressive Black who somehow has his own sound that just seeks to emulate the rest of those who make up the scene.
